International workshop on photochemical air pollution cum TRS Advisory Committee Meeting

Following the TRS annual science workshop on November 9, we organized the International workshop on photochemical air pollution cum TRS Advisory Committee Meeting at Li Ka Shing Tower M1410 at PolyU on November 10, 2023. International experts on air quality were invited to give oral presentations on air quality research in Hong Kong, mainland China, and the United States. The invited speakers included Prof. Steven Brown from NOAA US, Prof. Alexis Lau from HKUST, Prof. Cheng Liu from USTC, Dr. Kenneth Leung from HKEPD, Prof. Xinming Wang from GIG CAS, Prof. Min Shao from JNU, and Prof. Allen Zheng from HKUST (GZ). Prof. Tao Wang, Dr. Peter Louie, Prof. Shuncheng Lee, and Dr. Liuju Zhong chaired different sessions. After the presentations, there was panel discussion on future atmospheric research under low-carbon and carbon neutrality policies, followed by a continued TRS poster session. This workshop provides a great platform for different research groups to communicate, share findings, and explore future collaboration.
